Position Overview
Lira Electric, LLC is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious individuals with commercial and/or industrial electrical experience who take pride in producing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Install conduit, wire, panels, fixtures, and other electrical components
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify necessary repairs
- Perform work in accordance with the NEC, project specifications, and applicable codes
- Coordinate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades on the jobsite
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow company and jobsite safety policies and procedures
- Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently while meeting project schedules
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Journeyman Electrician
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical plans and specifications
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to bend and install conduit
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to meet jobsite and customer access requirements, as applicable
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a Read ID/Passport
