Registered Nurse ICU
Location: Arcata, California
Pay Rate: $1,800 To $2,160/Week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; 3x12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 3 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week rapid response contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This role supports critical care patients during night shifts and requires strong ICU experience, clinical judgment, patient monitoring skills, and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for ICU and critical care patients
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
Document patient care accurately using CPSI/Evident
Collaborate with the care team to support safe and effective patient outcomes
Requirements
Active California Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 3 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience required
BLS And ACLS Certifications Required
Negative TB screen required within 12 months of contract start date
Must be available for 12-hour night shifts and holiday coverage as required
