Galesville LTC Pharmacy is a long-term care pharmacy serving nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the La Crosse area. We’re looking for a positive, energetic Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This position will work closely with our user friendly automated dispensing technology creating strip packaging. Pay will be based on pharmacy experience. However, no pharmacy experience required. Extensive on the job training will be provided.
New and recent high school graduates are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Dispense cycle fill medications from automated tablet packager
- Dispense daily orders from automated tablet packager
- Fill exception trays using barcode technology
- Replenish canisters using barcode technology
- Utilize image verification system to check strip packaging
- Correct errors in strip packaging
- Set up strip packaging for delivery to facilities

Schedule & Opportunities for Additional Pay
- Every 4th rotating Saturday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Optional weekend on-call shifts for extra earnings: $50 per day plus hourly rate if called in
