The following positions will be filled from this job positing: Recreation Leader $16.90 - $19.56/hourRecreation Crew Leader $18.63 - $20.45/hourRecreation Leaders are required to provide leadership and conduct various recreation activities including planning, organizing and implementing special events.Recreation Crew Leaders may be required to supervise recreation leaders. They conduct various recreation activities and are involved in the development of programs and interactions with parents. They must have a basic understanding of programs and be able to communicate related policies and procedures to staff and the general public.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Recreation LeaderConduct and supervise activities at assigned recreation sites and programs.Officiate and/or scorekeep youth/adult sport activities according to league schedules and check and provide equipment when needed.Check sport fields and recreation sites for possible safety hazards throughout activity and maintain same; clean up and secure facility and equipment at completion of the event.
