Overview:
Development Intern takes part in IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support application development projects, including basic data analysis and data integration tasks under the guidance of project team members.
- Participate in project implementation activities and gain hands-on experience in application development and database-related tasks.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, user guides, and technical documents related to application development projects.
- Support application testing activities, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to help validate that applications meet business requirements.
- Assist the project team during user acceptance testing and production go-live activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business users to support project delivery and issue tracking.
- Learn and apply software development standards, testing methodologies, and banking technology practices throughout the internship program.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming, and software testing concepts.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application development processes.
- Knowledge of at least one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or PL/SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Pay Range
Actual salary is commensurate with candidate’s relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
