We are seeking a motivated and responsible CDL Class B Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle, or specialized transport vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport cargo across designated routes, ensuring punctuality.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify mechanical issues and ensure safety standards are met.
- Communicate clearly with clients, and team members using excellent English skills; utilize bilingual abilities when needed to assist diverse populations.
- Manage behavior and ensure safety for children or senior passengers through effective behavior management techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly demeanor throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, safety checks, and incident reports as required by company policies and regulatory agencies.
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo or mobility devices as necessary; support clients with special needs or childcare requirements when applicable.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, or related transportation roles .
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve multilingual communities effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance checks.
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively in diverse settings while ensuring safety at all times.
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations governing commercial vehicle operation is essential.
