Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Maintain accurate records of treatments administered and follow-up schedules
- Operate farm machinery and land management tools to support lawn care and landscaping projects when needed
- Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with general maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure optimal performance
Skills
- Proven experience or strong interest in pest control techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, farming practices, or land management is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment used in outdoor maintenance
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently for travel between sites
- Strong communication skills to explain treatment plans and safety instructions clearly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active tasks
- Basic understanding of sales techniques can be beneficial for customer interactions
