Per Diem/ Parttime /Fulltime
PRIVATE ASSISTED LIVING COMMUNITY - Graymoor
We are seeking Per Diem, Part Time and Full Time, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and work alongside fellow caregivers to provide high quality care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assists in overseeing the assignments and tasks which ensure quality health care per the sister’s care plans.
· LPN provides leadership in the assessment, coordination, planning and implementation of an evaluation of nursing care.
· Participates in the evaluation of residents regarding admission, discharge, transfer, and emergencies.
· Fosters an atmosphere of teamwork; LPN is willing to participate in the physical care of the sisters whenever necessary.
· LPN works with nursing personnel in checking, clarifying physicians’ orders and placement in the
Medication Administration Record (MAR) and the Treatment Administration Record (TAR).
· Works with nursing personnel in making and confirming doctor’s appointments, arranging for medical testing and other procedures prescribed by the doctor.
· Work under direct Supervision of the Healthcare Director
POSITION HOURS: ALL SHIFTS
All Shifts Available · Day shift· Evening shift· Night shift· Overnight shift
Must be available to work one weekend a month
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid New York State LPN/RN license is required
· CPR Certification
· BLS Certification (Preferred)
· Previous clinical or healthcare experience, preferably in long term care and/or geriatric
setting
DESIRED SKILLS: Exceptional bedside manner and great interpersonal skills
· Excellent organization skills
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Attention to detail
LPN SALARY: $31.00 to $36.00 per hour
RN SALARY: $38.00 to $53.00 per hour
