Act Global (www.actglobal.com) is a Texas-based, growing synthetic turf manufacturer. We seek an experienced independent certified public accountant (CPA) to provide our annual financial statement review and serve as our long-term outside CPA.
This is an independent contractor engagement — not an employment position. We're specifically looking for a CPA who runs their own established solo or small-firm practice in Texas.
Our accounting function — bookkeeping and financial reporting — is handled internally. We are not looking for bookkeeping or tax services. Our primary need is an independent CPA to perform an annual review of our financial statements and issue the related review report.
We may also engage our outside CPA where independent financial credibility or representation adds value — for example, in banking, financing, taxation, due diligence, or strategic expansion or partnership discussions.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas CPA license
- Experienced in performing financial statement review engagements
- Public accounting background
- Experience advising privately held businesses
- Practical, business-minded approach
- Operates an independent CPA practice with an established professional website
- Solo practitioners and small firms strongly preferred
We want a long-term relationship with an experienced, responsive, cost-effective CPA who becomes genuinely familiar with our company and financial reporting.
Compensation: $150/hour for hourly work. Annual financial statement reviews will be performed for a mutually agreed fixed fee.
