American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in Massachusetts, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and the ability to float between L&D and Postpartum.

Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit operating as a true LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum) environment

Assignment to a maternity float pool with required floating between L&D and Postpartum (PP)

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)

36 hours per week with every other weekend and holiday required

Epic EMR used in this position

Active MA RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

AWHONN Intermediate level certification or above required

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years strongly preferred (2 years considered for candidates with travel nursing experience)

Two professional references required for consideration, one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher

Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 200 miles are accepted at the same bill rate

Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Orientation includes two pass/fail exams — a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each with only one attempt allowed; failure results in immediate contract cancellation

Study materials will be provided prior to and during orientation to help prepare for both exams

RTO (requested time off) is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract

First-time travelers may be considered if they meet the 2-year minimum experience requirement
