Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and efficient check-in experience while handling reservations using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
- Manage guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, offering prompt assistance with room bookings, local information, and special requests.
- Prepare and serve breakfast in accordance with health and safety standards, ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting dining area for all guests.
- Assist guests with check-out procedures, billing questions, and resolving any concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, reservations, and billing details using hotel management software; perform night audit procedures as needed.
- Uphold hotel emergency procedures by being prepared to respond swiftly to safety incidents or guest emergencies while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Support guest relations by addressing special requests or issues proactively, demonstrating excellent customer service problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA is highly preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a strong advantage for communicating effectively with diverse guests.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette, guest communication, and problem resolution.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest well-being at all times.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in night audit processes and resort or hotel experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations and teamwork within the hotel environment.
