As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an essential role in supporting our providers, ensuring medication accuracy, maintaining compliance, and delivering an outstanding patient experience from start to finish.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and dispense hormone therapy medications under the direction of a licensed provider.
- Maintain accurate patient records, prescription information, and medication documentation.
- Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, and proper storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
- Ensure all pharmacy processes meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Educate patients on medication instructions, expectations, and potential side effects.
- Partner closely with providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Help improve clinic workflows and contribute ideas that enhance efficiency and the patient experience.
- Create positive interactions with every patient by providing friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service.
- Support a culture built on teamwork, accountability, initiative, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- At least two years of pharmacy technician experience, ideally in a clinical, specialty, or compounding environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping patients.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, medication safety, and compliance standards.
- CPR certification and familiarity with medical terminology are a plus.
