Vocational Services is a nationally and state-certified, private community-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has provided employment opportunities and services for individuals with developmental disabilities for over 60 years. VSI offers both Extended Employment Sheltered Workshops (EESW) and Community Integration Employment (CIE) services, tailored to individual needs and interests, to help people achieve long-term, meaningful employment of their choice.

What You'll Do as a Job Coach
- Guide adults with disabilities toward workplace success
- Build confidence and develop essential job skills
- Support individuals in navigating workplace dynamics
- Manage appropriate paperwork as required, such as case notes
- Serve as a role model for participants
- Foster strong relationships with employer partners
- Make a lasting impact in your community

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required at minimum; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Capacity to work with persons with disabilities by encouraging, supporting, and directing.
- Positive attitude and the ability to motivate others.
- Experience working with persons with disabilities strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain employer relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong presentation and networking skills
- Computers skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid MO driver's license with the ability to obtain a class E license upon hire.
- Willingness to be flexible in work assignments
Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
