ENVIRONMENTAL - UNDERGROUND OPERATOR II (Equipment Operator II)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
-
Performing skilled work by assisting with the installation, maintenance and/or repair of various City wastewater/water infrastructure projects

Operate various types of equipment, hand/power tools and/or vehicles required for assigned work projects
QUALIFICATIONS
-
High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS two (2) years' experience in wastewater collection system and/or water distribution construction, maintenance and/or repair activities OR
-
High school diploma (or equivalent) PLUS three (3) years' experience in underground construction, maintenance and/or repair activities
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION
-
Valid Driver's License
- "Class B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements will be required within six (6) months

Distribution System 2 Certification may be required within two (2) years
