We are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable Part-Time Phlebotomy Lab Instructor to join our growing allied health training team. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and preparing future healthcare professionals for success in the field.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on phlebotomy lab instruction to students
- Demonstrate proper venipuncture and capillary collection techniques
- Supervise student practice and competency skills
- Maintain a safe and professional learning environment
- Track student attendance, progress, and skills completion
- Assist with preparation for certification exams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
- Support students through encouragement and professional mentorship
Qualifications
- Current phlebotomy certification required OR a minimum of 5 years of verifiable phlebotomy experience
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, organized, and dependable
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Healthcare instructional experience is a plus
