EM Assembler level I and Level II
Key Responsibilities
- Follow written work instructions detailing assembly methods and sequences using bills of materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and other technical documentation.
- Assemble and fabricate mechanical and electrical assemblies using company-provided hand and power tools.
- Assemble electrical panels, electrical boxes, chassis, and related components.
- Perform point-to-point wiring according to wire run lists and electrical diagrams.
- Integrate sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies, and connecting cables.
- Troubleshoot electrical assemblies and wiring when required.
- Interface with Engineering and Quality Assurance to understand assembly requirements, workmanship standards, and customer specifications.
- Learn new product builds and effectively transfer assembly knowledge and techniques to other team members.
- Use precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Assemble products according to established process specifications and quality standards.
- Identify problems, analyze potential causes, and offer practical solutions.
- Maintain a high level of workmanship, accuracy, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively with teams of approximately 2–8 people.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; technical school or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical dexterity.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
- Exposure to blueprints, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials is a plus.
- PC hardware, software installation, and configuration experience preferred.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Experience working with complex electrical panels, multiple components, and large wire run lists is a plus.
- Experience with large-scale capital equipment is a plus.
