AdaptiveVets Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead enterprise requirements analysis and business process improvement activities for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
This senior role drives analytical excellence, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level reporting that inform strategic decisions across a mission-critical Federal cloud platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise requirements analysis and business process improvement initiatives supporting cloud platform operations.
- Develop and maintain requirements artifacts, service request intake processes, and operational documentation.
- Produce executive-level analysis, operational status reports, and trend assessments for VA Product Managers and leadership.
- Design and maintain stakeholder training programs on service request and requirements intake processes, delivered at least once per PI.
- Lead backlog development and refinement in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum teams.
- Develop dashboard requirements, metrics frameworks, and reporting structures for platform performance and SLA tracking.
- Coordinate cross-functional working sessions to resolve complex requirements issues.
- Ensure all analytical deliverables are accurate, professionally formatted, and aligned with VA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (4 additional years of relevant experience may substitute)
- 10+ years of business analysis experience leading enterprise IT requirements and process improvement for Federal programs
- Proven ability to produce executive-level reports, analysis documents, and stakeholder training materials
- Experience with Jira-based backlog management and Agile delivery environments
- Strong facilitation skills for leading cross-functional working sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent certification
- Experience supporting VA, HHS, or comparable Federal health/science agency programs
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted platform operations and enterprise service delivery frameworks
