We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for making local commercial division deliveries, safely operating company vehicles, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has experience towing a trailer with a pickup truck using a gooseneck hitch and enjoys working in both a driving and warehouse environment.
Experience operating a box truck is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Transportation
- Make timely and professional local deliveries to commercial customers.
- Safely operate a pickup truck while towing equipment and materials using a gooseneck trailer.
- Secure, transport, and unload materials in accordance with safety standards.
- Inspect vehicles and trailers before and after each trip and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate with Commercial Team or warehouse staff regarding delivery status.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, stage, and load customer orders for delivery.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training/certification provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a pickup truck while towing a trailer, preferably with a gooseneck hitch.
- Ability to safely load, secure, and transport materials.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience operating a box truck.
- Forklift certification.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or construction material handling experience.
- Familiarity with local commercial delivery routes.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.
