We are seeking a dedicated PMHNP to join a mission-driven behavioral health team providing comprehensive psychiatric care in an outpatient setting.

What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for adults with a wide range of behavioral health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing psychopharmacological management.
- Maintain an active caseload of patients requiring medication management and psychiatric follow-up services.
- Collaborate closely with therapists, case managers, primary care providers, social workers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical discussions to support quality patient outcomes.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
- Provide consultation and psychiatric expertise to members of the clinical team when needed.
- Assist with evaluations related to supportive housing and community-based services as appropriate.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and contribute to best practices in behavioral health care.
- Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Demonstrated experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management in outpatient, community-based, behavioral health, or integrated care settings.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, behavioral health treatment models, and evidence-based psychiatric care.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Experience working with underserved, vulnerable, or high-acuity populations.
- Familiarity with harm reduction, trauma-informed care, housing support services, HIV care, substance use treatment, or community mental health programs.
