As a Project Engineer in Aerospace, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination in support of a US Army program. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results. In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership and project management skills
