We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Granite/Quartz Countertop Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, fabricating, and installing high-quality granite and quartz countertops.
- Measure and mark countertops accurately based on blueprints, schematics, and client specifications
- Fabricate countertops using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment, ensuring precise cuts and finishes
- Install countertops securely on cabinets or designated surfaces, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Must be able to successfully install and complete all projects, ensure that all joints are properly done, all splashes are caulked, all holes are drilled, and all counters are cleaned and sealed.
- Inspect that jobsite is thoroughly cleaned, both inside and outside, prior to leaving.
- Be able to fabricate in field and repair any chips, scratches or defects in materials as needed.
- Must be able to professionally speak with contractors when at the job sites to coordinate & resolve installation issues.
- Must inform Superintendent of all issues or delays occurring at job sites as well as communicate any changes to the schedule.
- Perform site inspections to verify proper installation and address any issues promptly
- Operate heavy equipment safely during fabrication or transportation of materials
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and maintain a clean work environment
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles
- Experience with fabrication techniques for stone materials such as granite and quartz
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and inspection procedures
- Ability to read construction drawings and interpret technical instructions
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical experience, or related trades is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and installation processes
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients, team player!!!
This is a full time position with overtime as needed.
Salary range depends on skill set and experience.
