Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Expo to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless dining experience, and help to organize and run food during our busy times. This role is essential in maintaining excellent guest relations and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Step back and assist in food organization and running when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
- Ability to multitask effectively while providing attentive service to guests.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
