Purpose of the Position:
The General Engineer for Aviation Systems provides support for UAS general development and integration of aviation components.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Engineer for UAS general development and integration of aviation components
- Develop and Maintain integration software and hardware
- Maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware
- Support program and technical interchange meetings
- Support customer technical interchange meetings
- Support hands on testing of UAS operations and software functions
- Conduct demonstration for customers
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree - preferably in Science or Engineering with 45-63 months of full-time verifiable work experience
- Ability to develop and integrate software and systems in the accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements
- Experience in UAS development, integration and operations
- Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs
- UAS pilot using Part 107
- Knowledge and use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools
- U.S. citizenship required
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent years of experience in an engineering, scientific or aviation management field
