We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist specializing in payment applications to oversee customer receipts across our commercial truck dealership operations (Sales, Parts, and Service). This role focuses on processing high-volume daily cash, ACH, check, and credit card payments within our CDK Global Drive / Lightyear dealership management system. Advanced proficiency with Excel (specifically Pivot Tables) is required to reconcile large customer accounts, clear unapplied cash, and resolve payment discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Payment Processing & Application: Accurately post daily payments (ACH, wires, checks, credit cards, financing settlements) to appropriate customer accounts and specific invoice lines within CDK.
CDK Reconciliation: Work daily within CDK's AR and Cash Receipt modules to match customer remittances against open invoices for Fleet Accounts, Retail Parts, and Repair Orders.
Data Analysis & Pivot Tables: Utilize Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs to analyze high-volume customer remittances, identify payment trends, clear unapplied cash, and reconcile complex monthly fleet statements.
Discrepancy Resolution: Partner with Service Advisors, Parts Managers, and Commercial Sales Managers to research and resolve short-payments, unauthorized deductions, tax-exempt issues, and disputed invoices.
Schedule Maintenance: Maintain and clear CDK Accounts Receivable control schedules, ensuring zero aging discrepancies between GL accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
Customer Collaboration: Maintain professional communication with commercial fleet customers to obtain missing remittance advice and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
