Job Summary
Legacy Premier Title is a boutique title company with a great team, excellent systems and incredible clients. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our dedicated real estate team. In this vital role, you will manage the escrow process from start to finish, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions for buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents. Your expertise in real estate law, title processing, and research will be essential in providing exceptional customer service and safeguarding all parties’ interests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a title company where precision, compliance, and client satisfaction are paramount. We use Qualia software and have an escrow assistant to help you.
Duties
- Facilitate the escrow process by coordinating with buyers, sellers, lenders, and agents to ensure all transaction details are accurate and complete
- Review and interpret real estate contracts, title reports, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct thorough research on property titles using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools to verify ownership history and identify potential issues
- Process title insurance policies and coordinate with title companies to secure clear titles for closing
- Prepare and review settlement statements, closing disclosures, and other necessary documentation with attention to detail
- Oversee the signing of documents by all parties, ensuring legal requirements are met and signatures are properly obtained
- Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during escrow
Experience
- Proven experience working in a title office or real estate environment with a focus on escrow or title processing
- Strong knowledge of real estate law, including legal procedures related to property transfers and closings
- Skilled in conducting research related to property titles, legal records, and geographic information systems (GIS) applications
- Experience with title processing software and document management systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and professionally
- Familiarity with law office procedures, including document preparation, compliance checks, and record keeping

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
