Responsibilities:
- Our Delivery Drivers drive a Step Van to drop off FedEx packages to customers within Rosedale, Cambria Heights and Springfield Gardens in Queens NY out of East New York FedEx Terminal.
- You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week
- A typical workday is approximately 8-10 hours
- Our drivers follow strict safety standards on and off the road
- You'll interact with FedEx customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
- You'll use handheld technology to deliver customer packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles
- Sort and load your Step Van to meet customer promise
- Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times
- May assist in training other team members
- May assist other Delivery team members in completing deliveries when behind

Delivery Drivers must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 25+ years old
- Have 1 year commercial driving experience in the last 3 years with a 15' truck or similar size.
- Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment
- Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no points or DUIs over the last 3 years.
- Must be able to operate and navigate a Step Van, more than GVWR 10,000 lbs.
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must consent to a drug screening and pass a 5-panel drug test
- Must have DOT Physical Test
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 100 lbs., with or without a helper
- Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 12 hours long
- Ability to work 40 hours a week. This position is full-time
- Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers
