We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time medical assistant. The ideal candidate will be a people person with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others, and works well with others. Our clinic is high paced with a high standard for customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Collect payments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Lab draws
- Scheduling, check in and check out of patients including billing
- Monitoring email inbox and voicemail box
- Turnover of rooms between patients
- Managing patient documents
- Acting as communication liaison between patients and providers
- Assistance with clinical duties such as, blood draws, injections etc.
- Ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction
- Fulfilling patient orders for home delivery medications
- Oversight of inhouse supplement supply
- HBOT operator
- Other duties as assignment by supervisors
- Phlebotomy
- Medical receptionist duties
- Facilitate wellness center testing
- Email management
Qualifications:
- Certified MA with at least 3 years of experience REQUIRED
- Experience with medical reception preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Works well in a team setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented
- Self starter
- Proficiency in computer software, including electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Positive and professional demeanor
