We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer (PE) to support project execution, documentation, and quality control. Key Responsibilities

Set up and maintain project documentation, including job site files, drawing logs, RFIs, and submittals

Manage document control processes, ensuring accurate tracking and distribution of project information

Utilize Procore construction management software for file management, reporting, and communication
-
Coordinate the distribution and tracking of subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and field-generated documentation
-
Support quality control (QC) processes, including inspection, punch list, and compliance document tracking
-
Support RFI and submittal processes, ensuring timely responses and project continuity

Assist with preconstruction activities, including bid & buyout support and plan/specification distribution

Collaborate with superintendents and project managers to resolve project issues and maintain schedule

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders

Prepare project closeout documentation, including O&M manuals and final deliverables

Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Required:

3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Honesty and dependability

Must be able to pass government security clearance requirements

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

Experience with Procore and Bluebeam
-
Familiarity with construction scheduling (Primavera P6 or OPC a plus)
-
Experience with USACE projects and Resident Management System (RMS)
