Position Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Weekend Shift Production Supervisor who thrives on leading people, solving problems, and keeping production running safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll oversee daily production operations, support and develop a team of production employees, and ensure quality, safety, and delivery goals are met.
This is a front-line leadership position that balances people leadership with operational execution. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, and energized by a fast-paced manufacturing environment—someone who can jump in when needed while keeping the bigger picture in focus.

$28.00 to $32.00 an hour, plus shift differential

What You'll Do
-
Oversee daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery across assigned production areas or shifts.

Lead, coach, and support production employees to promote accountability, engagement, and skill development.

Plan and manage daily work assignments, labor allocation, production schedules, machine utilization, and workflow priorities.

Monitor production output to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards and take corrective action when needed.

Investigate quality issues, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions in coordination with Production Management.

Promote and enforce a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and equipment operating procedures.

Provide hands-on operational and technical support related to production equipment and processes, including setup, troubleshooting, and minor adjustments.

Coordinate with maintenance, leadership, and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment, staffing, or workflow issues.

Approve employee timecards, PTO requests, and schedule changes in accordance with company policy.

Communicate production status, staffing needs, operational challenges, and performance metrics to leadership.

Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, workflow optimization, material usage, and cross-training.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
-
Minimum of three years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Prior experience leading or supervising production employees.

Working knowledge of production processes, equipment, and shop-floor operations.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn production management systems.
Preferred Qualifications

Technical, trade, or manufacturing-related education or training.

Experience with safety programs, OSHA compliance, or continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience coordinating with maintenance or supporting equipment troubleshooting.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

Frequent use of hands to handle tools, equipment, or controls.

Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.
