Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Intermodal Truck Driver and take charge of transporting freight efficiently across various routes. In this role, you'll operate a tractor-trailers to ensure timely delivery and safe handling of goods. Your expertise will keep our supply chain moving smoothly while providing excellent service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers to transport freight across designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and trailer conditions.
- Follow all federal, state, and company regulations related to commercial driving, including hours-of-service rules and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, deliveries, and vehicle logs; complete route reports promptly.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize route planning and delivery schedules for efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers.
- Familiarity with operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other loading equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong knowledge of route driving strategies to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety compliance in commercial driving environments.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
