Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales & Business Development Manager to spearhead growth initiatives across the Houston, TX market. This energetic leader will drive strategic sales efforts, cultivate strong client relationships, and expand MosquitoNix Houston's market presence across our sales and service lines. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for business development, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams toward achieving ambitious sales targets. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives to maximize revenue, profitability, and market expansion.
- Recruit, train, coach, and manage assigned sales personnel; set performance expectations and hold team members accountable for individual and regional sales objectives.
- Lead one-on-one meetings, field coaching, ride-alongs, performance evaluations, and pipeline reviews, and develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through targeted outreach and industry networking with luxury home builders, general contractors, landscape architects, pool builders, property management companies, HOAs, commercial property owners, hospitality and multifamily properties, realtors, developers, and other referral partners.
- Manage and nurture existing client relationships to ensure high satisfaction, promote repeat business, and increase market share.
- Own customer retention and winback strategy, maximizing renewals, reducing churn, re-engaging lapsed or cancelled accounts, and recovering lost revenue through proactive outreach and save offers.
- Lead negotiations and close deals efficiently, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support company goals.
- Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop tailored local campaigns, community outreach, digital and social media initiatives, and referral programs that enhance brand visibility in the region.
- Maintain accurate CRM records to track sales activities, manage pipeline progress, ensure timely lead follow-up, and forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual performance.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including revenue production, lead conversion, closing percentage, average contract value, sales activity levels, and customer acquisition.
- Drive strategic planning by analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine pricing, promotional, and sales tactics, and provide market intelligence to executive leadership.
- Assist in launching new products and services within the assigned territory.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to deliver seamless onboarding, service delivery, and an exceptional customer experience.
- Represent the Company at networking events, trade associations, trade shows, and community organizations as directed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales and business development management with a strong track record of expanding client bases and closing deals.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales negotiation, deal closing, and relationship management within competitive markets.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams to consistently hit performance targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline management and reporting.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and strategic planning purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across various channels.
- Experience prospecting new clients through innovative marketing approaches and strategic outreach efforts, ideally within home services, pest control, holiday lighting, construction, or related industries.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams with a focus on collaboration, project management, and achieving shared objectives.
- Knowledge of enterprise and referral-based selling techniques combined with strategic management skills to develop long-term growth plans.
