We are looking to fill a Principal position at a private school (K - 5th). This person will oversee the day to day operations of the school while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety and welfare of the children and staff.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
* Staff supervision.
* Implementation of staff schedule.
* Ensures compliance of state regulations.
*Ample Experience to direct School Curriculum
* Maintains accurate records of both staff and children.
* Establish community and corporate relationships in order to promote the program and recruit students.
Organize and present events and activities aimed at retention and appreciation.
* Organize and present Family Nights and communication to encourage family support of the program objectives and to build strong families.
Maintain client and staff confidentiality.
* Delegate tasks.
Requirements:
* Must have experience working with Special Needs students.
* Experience in a quantative position. Must be of outstanding character and witness meeting the qualifications for maturity and leadership.
* Has a mastery of basic computer skills and familiarity with current educational technological trends.
* BA in Education.
* FBI/FDLE and Local Background Screening.
* CPR/First Aid Certified.
* Recent physical exam and TB test.
* Excellent Communication skills; oral and written.
* Committed to being involved in center activities.
* Lesson plan experience.
* Bilingual: English/Spanish.
* Create and maintain program budget.
* Accounting knowledge a plus.
* Develop strong relationships with parents.
* Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
* Positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
* Has a heart for school families and is able to work effectively with them.
* Must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and flexibility.
* Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, whether that is acting as a Teacher, hiring, firing, and making the hard decisions on scheduling.
