As a Licensed Barber, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of barbering and grooming services, maintaining a clean and welcoming space, and fostering strong client relationships. Responsibilities
- Perform professional barbering services including haircutting, shaving, beard trimming, and styling using straight razors and other tools.
- Deliver expert hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair styling tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Provide specialized services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning tools, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring the salon meets health regulations.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing retail sales efficiently.
- Offer retail product recommendations through upselling techniques while educating clients on hair care and beauty products.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling payments with retail math accuracy.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair coloring, styling techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Support store management tasks such as inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Experience
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with current certification required.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering or hairstyling preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Experience performing diverse services including hair coloring, hair extensions, makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading. (Not required)
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
