What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a strong command of civil procedure and a solid background in motion practice, discovery, and courtroom litigation. We’re looking for someone who is self-driven, client-focused, and comfortable moving cases toward resolution—whether by settlement or trial.
Responsibilities
- Handle a full litigation caseload from filing through resolution
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Conduct and respond to discovery
- Attend and handle court hearings, conferences, and proceedings
- Negotiate settlements informally and in mediation
- Work cases efficiently toward settlement or trial
- Maintain excellent client communication and relationships
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in plaintiff and/or insurance defense litigation
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure and litigation practice
- Experience with all aspects of civil litigation and discovery
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Proven experience drafting motions and pleadings
- Courtroom experience, including attending and handling proceedings
- Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently
- Strong commitment to client service
