As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a critical role in supporting production and shipping operations by ensuring materials and equipment are delivered where they're needed on time and safely.
Identify and transport required materials throughout the facility.
Review production schedules and shipping orders to verify and deliver requested materials and equipment.
Apply knowledge of machine loading capacities and loading schedules to ensure efficient material flow.
Secure and protect loads using appropriate protective materials and strapping equipment.
Report any issues involving materials, transportation, or inventory to supervisors.
Report mechanical or electrical equipment concerns promptly.
Support overall warehouse and production operations by performing other related duties as assigned.
Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly.
Experience or comfort using computer-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ability to use handheld scanning devices for inventory control, shipping, and receiving activities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Dependable team player with a positive attitude.
