Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services & Facility Manager with a strong facilities management background to oversee facility maintenance, environmental services, and safety operations across our 11-bed inpatient residence and two (2) administrative office locations. This role is responsible for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, compliant, operationally efficient and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.

Oversee all environmental services and safety operations at inpatient and administrative facilities.

Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Environment of Care standards and NYS Department of Health regulations.

Maintain current knowledge of NYS Codes (Title 10, Title 18) and enforce life safety regulations (NYCRR Part 713).

Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, disinfection protocols, and infection control procedures.

Serve as the lead liaison during regulatory inspections and surveys.

Oversee vendor management for services including waste removal, pest control, and cleaning.

Ensure compliance with hazardous waste regulations (OSHA, EPA, NYS DEC) and infection control best practices.

Lead emergency preparedness initiatives and serve as Co-Chair of the Emergency Preparedness & Safety Committee.

Conduct routine inspections, safety drills, and mock surveys to monitor risks and ensure regulatory readiness.

Support workplace safety and ergonomic needs at corporate offices.

Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs.

In-depth understanding of Joint Commission, NYS DOH, OSHA, HIPAA, and CMS requirements.

Expert knowledge of NFPA codes, NYCRR Part 713, and environmental health regulations.

Experience in healthcare or long-term care facility maintenance and compliance.

Strong knowledge of infection control and hazardous waste management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.

Ability to manage inspections, documentation, and corrective action plans effectively.
