The Janitor/Cleaner is responsible for performing janitorial work required for routine cleaning, upkeep of building and grounds, vehicles and bus shelters under general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Inspects Authority vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards and regulations.
- Perform heavy cleaning duties and routine maintenance.
- Notify managers concerning the need for repairs to the building, grounds, vehicles and bus shelters.
- Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and/or the Assistant General Manager – Maintenance.
Selected candidate will be required to successfully complete a drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
