Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, hallways, offices, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Use specialized equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers for floor care and maintenance.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including cleaning large-scale equipment or high-traffic zones.
- Assist with facilities maintenance duties such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate team.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Support additional tasks like residential painting or light maintenance as needed to keep the facility in top condition.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques.
- Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards and industrial cleaning practices.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
