Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with merchandise accurately and promptly, ensuring products are presented attractively and are easy for customers to find
- Operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management systems, and reporting discrepancies
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate equipment and safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and sales floor, including organizing storage areas and packaging products for display or shipment
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays, restocking produce or grocery items, and ensuring retail store product knowledge is maintained
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products, assisting with product location, and supporting sales initiatives
Skills
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations and materials handling equipment operation
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and stock control processes
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customer needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices; manual handling skills required
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations, inventory counts, and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of retail store operations including merchandising, packaging, cashiering, and customer service standards
- Ability to work early mornings consistently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols
