As an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer, specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication between our customers and technicians. You will be responsible for accurately identifying vehicle issues, preparing repair orders, coordinating service schedules, and delivering an exceptional customer experience
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!
$20 HR based on Interview

What the Automotive Service Advisor role looks like:
- Greet and assist customers and fleet clients in a friendly and professional way
- Write accurate service repair orders using shop management software or a tablet
- Communicate clearly with technicians to make sure work is done correctly and on time
- Provide repair estimates, explain recommended services, and get customer approvals
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs to keep things running smoothly
- Keep track of repair progress and make sure deadlines are met
- Maintain clear and organized records of services, parts, and customer updates
- Follow up with customers to keep them informed on vehicle status and completion
- Make sure all company policies and regulations are followed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet accounts and vendors
- Work closely with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Help out with other related tasks as needed
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Advisor (fleet experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of light and medium-duty vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks at once
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for accurate documentation and clear customer/technician interactions
- Ability to review and explain repair recommendations confidently and professionally
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
- Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
- Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to inspect vehicles
