Warehouse Associate (Steel Distribution Center)
Location: 3825 East Main Ave Lakeland, Florida 33801
Job Description:
Responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of products within the distribution center. This includes receiving, storing, preparing, and shipping of materials amongst other duties.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or manually when required.
Verify product type, size, and quantity against shipping or receiving documents.
Pick and prepare customer orders according to specifications.
Operate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
Assist with inventory cycle counts
Package materials for shipping using banding, strapping, and wrapping equipment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily workload targets.
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and proper lifting techniques.
Requirements:
· Basic knowledge of measurement and the use of a measuring tape
· Experience operating a Forklift
· Ability to work under pressure
· Previous experience is a MUST!!!
Benefits:
· Salary starting at $17 p/h
