We are looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to join our growing dealership team. This position is ideal for a strong leader who knows how to drive sales, coach a team, maintain high customer satisfaction, and create a winning sales culture.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, working deals, managing showroom activity, following up with customers, improving closing performance, and helping the dealership reach monthly sales and gross profit goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team
- Desk deals and assist with negotiations
- Monitor showroom traffic, phone leads, internet leads, and follow-up activity
- Help salespeople improve closing ratios and customer experience
- Work closely with finance, service, and management
- Maintain strong CSI and professional customer relationships
- Hold the team accountable to daily goals, process, and performance
- Assist with inventory strategy, pricing, and merchandising
Qualifications:
- Automotive sales management experience preferred
- Strong closing, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to coach, train, and hold a team accountable
- Must be organized, driven, and results-focused
- Experience with VinSolutions is a plus
- Experience with Matador AI is a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license
