Redlands OBGYN Associates is seeking a reliable, experienced, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced women’s health practice. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with obstetric patients and understands the flow of prenatal care, including labs, timelines, and required testing throughout pregnancy.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage both clinical and front office responsibilities while delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
Front Office
- Answer high-volume phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Collect co-pays and verify insurance information
- Provide clear communication and guidance to patients regarding appointments and next steps
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Back Office
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and update medical history
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Manage OB patient workflows, including tracking labs, ultrasounds, and required prenatal testing timelines
- Ensure patients are up to date with all pregnancy-related labs and procedures
- Perform specimen collection and handling
- Administer injections as ordered
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Prepare and stock exam rooms
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Current CPR Certification
- OBGYN experience
- Understanding of prenatal care workflows, including labs, ultrasounds, and testing timelines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Comfortable with email and basic computer systems

Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Full-time, flexible schedule based on clinic needs
- No weekends or major holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
