Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of dining services, including food production, inventory control, and customer service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage a team of dining staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special events and catered functions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the food service industry.
-Experience in Senior Living Retirement Communities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, and food production processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, customers, and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
