Independent Enterprises provides community access services. The goal is to provide individuals with the information and training which will foster self-sufficiency and allow the individual to be included in their community to the degree they desire. Using the principles of person-centered planning, services are delivered according to the individual service plan in group and individual, center-based and community settings.
Community Access Services are designed to assist the individual with an intellectual developmental disability in acquiring, retaining, or improving self-help, socialization, and the adaptive skills required for active community participation and independent functioning outside the individual’s home or family home.
