Strategic Account Manager (Wholesale)

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Wholesale Strategic Account Manager (Outside Sales) to build, manage, and grow account relationships across Massachusetts. This role is focused on driving sales growth and expanding our footprint throughout the state by connecting top-tier cannabis products with top-tier retail partners.
We are proud to produce some of the top-ranked cannabis products in Massachusetts, with a strong and consistent presence in flower (bulk and pre-packaged), concentrates, edibles and cartridges. You’ll be selling across all of our in-house brands and product categories, joining a dynamic team of sales representatives and brand ambassadors who are passionate about quality, innovation, and growth.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in cannabis sales, an established network of Massachusetts dispensary contacts and confidence in presenting our premium, high-performing product portfolio to their existing and prospective accounts.

This full-time role reports directly to the Director of Sales and includes on-site, remote, and field-based work. Massachusetts residency is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets of DMC products to MA dispensaries.
- Generate sales revenue through new account acquisition and management of existing accounts.
- Work directly with the Director of Retail Sales to implement a highly effective sales strategy.
- Meet or exceed target sales goals and monitor progress-to-goal regularly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective accounts, existing account decision-makers, and other key industry personnel.
- Leverage marketing collateral and data to maximize sales
- Represent the company and its products with high character, integrity, and professionalism.
- Collaborate closely with fulfillment and finance teams to ensure accounts receive exceptional service.
- Submit sales orders accurately and on time.
- Update and maintain client data, sales orders, and account changes in CRM.
- Relay customer feedback to internal departments for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to enhance visual merchandising and maximize presence in high-traffic shelf space and display cases.
- Complete expense reports, sales reports, and other administrative paperwork.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A very strong and current rolodex of dispensary relationships in Massachusetts where you can immediately convert new business for DMC.
- 4+ years of sales experience, including a proven track record of success, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate an exceptional level of EQ in all professional interactions
- Superior sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- A high degree of integrity and ethical conduct at all times
- Comfortable with technology & computers
- Willingness to travel within the state of Massachusetts regularly to meet with accounts
- Strong attention to details
- CRM experience
- A genuine and extensive knowledge and passion for cannabis products is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonuses/Commissions, Based on Experience. Expected OTE is $120,000-$130,000.
