Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using established recipes and techniques, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist in menu planning to develop new pizza offerings and seasonal specials that excite our customers.
- Maintain food safety standards by following sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and hygiene practices at all times.
- Support food production by managing ingredient prep, including chopping, portioning, and organizing supplies for efficient service.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching setups, braising pots, and knife tools with skill and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-volume production standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen area through regular sanitizing procedures and adherence to food safety management protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dietary department settings or as a dietary aide is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling.
- Prior restaurant or culinary experience with a focus on high-volume production environments.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food safety management practices.
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods such as grilling, cooking, and meal preparation.
- Experience in menu planning, catering, or fine dining environments is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and quality standards.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
