We are looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic Cashier / Front Counter Team Members to join our team and help create a great experience for every customer.
Job Summary
The Cashier / Front Counter Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately taking orders, handling payments, preparing guest orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays positive in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in representing the Jawny’s brand.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
- Take customer orders accurately through POS system
- Answer menu questions and provide recommendations
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately
- Prepare and package customer orders for dine-in, pickup, and delivery
- Ensure orders are complete and meet Jawny’s quality standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen team members
- Maintain a clean and organized front counter, dining area, and customer areas
- Restock supplies including drinks, packaging, and front counter items
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Help create a fast, friendly, and welcoming guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods
