Duties
- Measure, cut, and install seamless gutter systems using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation
- Prepare work sites by cleaning and setting up scaffolding or ladders safely before beginning work
- Apply caulking, sealants, and other finishing techniques to ensure leak-proof installations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed for optimal performance
- Assist with related tasks such as fascia board repair, downspout installation, and minor roofing or siding work when required
Experience
- Prior experience in construction site work or roofing installation is highly preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Skills in working with various materials including metal, vinyl, or aluminum gutters
- Basic understanding of related trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
