Citizens of the World Los Angeles is seeking a new Regional Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct services, assessments, and support to students with speech and language needs. The SLP plays a critical role in ensuring students access their educational program fully and effectively, in collaboration with school teams and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy using a variety of models and approaches
Conduct screenings, formal assessments, and write comprehensive evaluation reports
Develop and implement IEP goals and service plans aligned to students' needs
Track and document student progress toward IEP goals
Collaborate with educators to support classroom integration of communication strategies
Participate in IEP meetings and engage with families about student progress
Maintain accurate and timely records in Welligent or other required systems
Contribute to the regional Special Education team and special projects as needed
Travel between school sites as assigned

Master’s degree from an ASHA-accredited university
Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License or Credential
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP)
At least 1 year of experience in a school setting preferred
Strong knowledge of IEP development, formal assessments, and service delivery models
Familiarity with LAUSD and Welligent (preferred)
Willingness and ability to travel to school sites
